Terms of Service
Last updated: November 13, 2025
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using LiveGuild, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
LiveGuild is a browser-based community platform for Twitch users, operated by NextHook Ltd. LiveGuild provides social features, chat, asset libraries, creator tools, stores, LiveSpaces, and engagement integrations. LiveGuild is independent and not affiliated with Twitch.
3. User Accounts
You must authenticate using Twitch OAuth to use LiveGuild. We receive only your Twitch ID, username, display name, and avatar. Email is received only if explicitly granted. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Twitch account and all activity under your LiveGuild profile.
4. User Content
You retain all rights to content you upload to LiveGuild. By uploading content, you grant LiveGuild a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute your content as needed to operate the platform.
You must not upload content that:
- Violates any laws or regulations
- Infringes on intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Is harassing, abusive, or hateful
- Contains explicit adult content
You may only upload works you created yourself or have full rights to distribute. Uploading third-party content without permission is prohibited.
5. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use LiveGuild for any illegal purpose
- Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Impersonate others or provide false information
- Harass, threaten, or abuse users
- Scrape, harvest, or automatically collect data
6. Paid Features
LiveGuild offers free and paid features such as Community Perk and Streamer Perk subscriptions. Payments are processed by third-party processors on behalf of NextHook Ltd. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal.
Pricing may change with 30 days notice for existing subscribers.
7. Digital Rewards & Marketplace
Streamers may offer digital rewards through their LiveGuild stores or LiveSpaces. LiveGuild facilitates these transactions but is not responsible for the quality, rights, or delivery of streamer-provided content.
All marketplace activity is governed by platform policies and content rules.
7.1 Streamer Content Ownership & Licensing
Streamers are fully responsible for all digital works they upload, including art, textures, code, writing, music, and other creative content. By uploading, you confirm that you own or have rights to the material.
You grant LiveGuild a limited, non-exclusive license to host and deliver this content solely for platform operation.
You agree to indemnify LiveGuild for any claims related to copyright infringement or unauthorized content.
7.2 Credit System Terms
LiveGuild offers a virtual credit system that streamers may use to reward viewers. Credits have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold, traded, or transferred between users. Credits apply only within the specific streamer’s store or LiveSpace where they were awarded.
Credits are issued only when a streamer manually rewards a viewer inside LiveGuild. LiveGuild does not track or detect Twitch actions automatically. Streamers cannot stockpile credits, hold a credit balance, or generate credits outside the reward flow.
LiveGuild defines fixed base credit values for Twitch actions. Streamers may choose the quantity awarded but cannot change the base value itself. If a streamer stops using LiveGuild, removes content, or pauses their subscription, viewer credits associated with that streamer may become unusable.
7.3 Streamer Subscriptions & Billing
Streamers may subscribe to Streamer Perk to access stores, LiveSpaces, overlays, APIs, and credit tools. By subscribing, you authorize recurring billing.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle.
Failed payments may result in suspension of Streamer Perk features.
8. Intellectual Property
LiveGuild—its code, design, branding, and technology—is owned by NextHook Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and related laws.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms or other operational reasons.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
LiveGuild is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, reliability, or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiveGuild is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Additional policies, including our Refund & Billing Policy, Security Policy, and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, form part of these Terms and apply to all users where relevant.
13. Contact
For questions, contact us via the LiveGuild contact page. Selecting the “Legal” option opens a pre-filled email to the LiveGuild / NextHook legal team.
