LiveGuild is a service operated by NextHook Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use LiveGuild. LiveGuild is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Twitch. LiveGuild uses Twitch solely for OAuth authentication.

Privacy-First Principle: We do not sell your data. We do not use tracking pixels for advertising. Your data is yours.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information from Twitch

When you authenticate with Twitch, we receive:

• Your Twitch username and display name
• Your Twitch profile picture
• Your Twitch user ID
• Your email address (only if you explicitly grant permission in the Twitch OAuth scope)

2.2 Information You Provide

• Profile information you add to LiveGuild
• Posts, messages, and comments you create
• Assets and content you upload
• Settings and preferences

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

LiveGuild does not use analytics trackers, fingerprinting, or advertising pixels. We only collect limited technical data required for security and server operation:

• IP address (for security, rate limiting, and fraud prevention)
• Session identifiers stored in essential cookies
• Basic server logs (error logs, uptime logs)

We do not collect device type, browser metadata, hardware identifiers, or behavioral analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the LiveGuild service
• Display your profile and content to other users
• Enable social features (friends, messages, community feed)
• Process payments for paid features
• Send service notifications and updates

Your profile, posts, and uploaded content are visible to other LiveGuild users. You control what you share.

4.2 Service Providers

LiveGuild does not share, sell, transfer, or expose user data to any external service providers. All user data remains stored exclusively within LiveGuild’s own systems.

Third-party involvement is limited strictly to essential infrastructure (such as our hosting provider), which only processes data on our behalf for the sole purpose of running the platform. These providers do not receive, store, or use user data for any purpose other than operating LiveGuild.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.

We will NEVER sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, behavioral tracking, or third-party marketing scripts. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, cookie consent banners are not required under most privacy regulations.

Disabling essential cookies in your browser will prevent LiveGuild from functioning.

9. Children's Privacy

LiveGuild is intended for users who meet Twitch's minimum age requirements (13+ in most regions, 18+ in some). We do not knowingly collect data from children under these age limits.

10. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

LiveGuild does not integrate with any third-party APIs except Twitch OAuth for login. We do not use Twitch’s APIs for data collection, analytics, or behavioral tracking.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or platform notification. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
